A razor coil is built from a carrier tape with blades clamped onto it. Three parameters decide its performance: coil diameter, the number and spacing of clips, and how it is fixed to the ground or topping. Coils clipped every few blades form a three-dimensional structure that cannot easily be pulled open; unclipped coils deploy faster but protect less.

Concertina or spiral coils?

Concertina holds its shape and is much harder to stretch open, so it goes where real protection matters. Spiral coils are cheaper and faster on long, lower-risk runs.

Galvanized or stainless?

Galvanized is the standard. Stainless is used at coastal and chemical sites and wherever expected service life is measured in decades.

Does installation need special measures?

Yes. Deploying coils requires protective gloves, the right tools and a safety procedure. Installation guidance is supplied with the delivery.
