Solutions in the system
3D pressed panel
Stiffened by pressings, the default choice for industrial sites.
2D twin-wire panel
Two horizontal wires, higher rigidity and cut resistance.
Welded mesh rolls
Economical fencing for long runs and internal zones.
Grating panels
Technical enclosures and guards within installations.
Posts and plinths
Posts for concreting or on base plates, precast plinths under the panel.
Screening inserts
Reduced visibility and wind load on runs next to buildings.
Gabions
Stone-filled baskets: boundary, structure and acoustic screen in one.
Retaining walls
Stabilising slopes and level changes along the fence line.
Sliding and swing gates
Entry points sized for vehicle traffic and on-site automation.
Industrial fencing: how the system is built and chosen
A permanent perimeter rests on three elements: the infill, the post and the founding method. The infill is usually a welded panel, either pressed (3D) or twin-wire (2D), with wire diameters chosen for the required stiffness. Posts are either concreted into the ground or fixed on base plates anchored to existing slabs.
The category covers 3D and 2D panels, welded mesh in rolls, grating for technical enclosures, screening inserts and mats, posts together with precast plinths, and gabions and retaining walls where the boundary also has to work structurally or damp noise. Sliding and swing gates matched to the fence line complete the system.
Selection depends on the required protection level, height, ground conditions and working environment. 2D panels are chosen above two metres and where cutting is a real risk; 3D suits typical industrial sites. It pays to prepare the fence for a future protective topping by choosing posts that will accept a bracket.
